Daniel F. McCallum

Daniel F. McCallum is responsible for a diverse legal portfolio, leading a staff of senior attorneys working in specialized areas of law, to include: military operations and personnel, civilian personnel and labor law, international law, criminal law, litigation, intelligence law, information law, administrative law; and the organization and functions of the Department of the Army as an Executive Branch agency. Provides expert legal advice to the Secretary of the Army, the General Counsel of the Army, and other senior departmental officials in the formulation, interpretation, and implementation of Army policies, procedures, and programs in the operations and personnel arena. On behalf of the General Counsel, exercises primary oversight of sensitive criminal, intelligence, administrative, and senior official investigations and acts for the Secretary of the Army on appeals from denials of information requested pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Privacy Acts.
